ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Earning his first Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) victory since 2010, Ben Jones, “the dancing Australian†captured the Ty Murray Invitational, presented by Sandia Resort & Casino, brought to you locally by Sonic title in front of 9,847 fans at WisePies Arena, aka The Pit, in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Sunday afternoon. 

Jones’s 90.25-point ride on Beaver Creek Beau (Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Jonathan Fine), in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round was the first qualified ride of the bull’s BFTS career, which began in September 2013, and was the highest-marked ride and the only 90-point score of the event. 

Jones added 550 points to his PBR world points standings total and took home $39,350 and moved from 17th to 8th in the PBR world standings.
