Guru Gobind Singh was a spiritual and temporal leader, poet, saint-warrior, nation-builder and a living martyr who sacrificed his family for his beloved Khalsa and for the freedom of the ordinary people.

 He called himself the humble servant of the Supreme Being and gave all credit to his Khalsa, the Army of the Timeless Being.
